Your Practice, Your Pace

I offer flexible formats to match your schedule, needs, and learning style — whether you prefer daily work, a fixed routine, or weekly progress.

Daily Mentorship

For students who thrive with hands-on guidance and daily presence in their learning.

  • No solo guessing — I’m with you during practice, guiding, motivating, and pushing when needed.

  • Flexible scheduling to fit your life.

  • Typical pace: ~20+ sessions per month.

  • Ongoing support with technique, posture, practice strategy, and mindset.

  • This format is based on how I work with current students who take daily lessons — both adults and kids.

For adults, it’s like working with a personal trainer or life coach: I’m with you every day, guiding your practice in real time. That means you build strong habits as you go, with support at every step — making your practice as effective as possible.

For kids, it works the same way. Because we meet daily, we don’t need to spend lesson time correcting habits that can form between lessons. We simply keep moving forward.

This format also works well if, for any reason, practicing on your own doesn’t work well for you — including if you have ADHD or are on the autism spectrum. Daily guidance helps you feel supported, focused, and steady in your progress.

Intensive Fixed Schedule

For serious study with a consistent rhythm.

  • I practice with you during lessons and provide clear, detailed homework for optional self-practice.

  • Minimum ~12 sessions per month.

  • Fixed lesson times.

  • Designed for auditions, competitions, accelerated growth — or to fill in missed learning gaps.

  • This pace is ideal for students who want regular support and steady growth. Since we typically meet about three times per week, there’s little time between lessons to develop unhelpful habits — I provide frequent corrections and guidance.

It’s especially effective for those preparing for auditions to bands, ensembles, youth orchestras, or school and college programs — as well as for competitions and music exams like AMEB, RCM, or ABRSM — where consistent, focused progress really matters.

Lessons are usually held at fixed times, helping you plan your week with confidence. That said, flexible scheduling is also possible — you can book lessons through my live calendar or arrange a time with me directly.

Weekly Lessons

For steady, once-a-week progress with optional flexibility

  • Choose a new time weekly from my calendar, or message me to set a regular slot — I’ll take care of scheduling.

  • Each session includes clear practice plans, homework, and support between lessons.

  • We focus on technique, musicality, posture, mindset, and healthy practice habits.

  • When combined with regular personal practice, this format can lead to excellent progress and strong achievements.

  • This format is great for cello students who enjoy practicing on their own — discovering the instrument independently, collecting questions during the week, and bringing them to our lessons for answers and guidance.

If you’re preparing for auditions or exams like AMEB, ABRSM, or RCM, weekly lessons can work very well — but only if combined with consistent self-practice. One lesson per week is not enough on its own for steady progress, but with focused individual work, you can absolutely achieve excellent results.

In each lesson, you’ll get answers to your questions, support, and detailed guidance on how and what to practice — including technique, musicality, and posture.
